As we recognize Stress Awareness Month this April, it’s crucial for our community to focus on supporting individuals who may be experiencing stress and mental health challenges. This month serves as a reminder to prioritize mental well-being and offer support to those in need.

Mental Health Association in New Jersey’s Contribution

The Mental Health Association in New Jersey plays a vital role in addressing the challenges faced by individuals highlighted in this month’s theme. 

Their Call Center is one of five of the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline crisis centers in New Jersey, ensuring the provision of high-quality care and innovative mental health practices. Nearly 98% of people who reach out to the 988 Lifeline receive the crisis support they need without requiring additional onsite services at that moment.
