Substance Abuse Workshop: A Beacon of Hope

The Family Service Bureau conducted a Substance Abuse Workshop for New Community Corporation residents during the 2023 calendar year. This workshop was designed not only to raise awareness about the comprehensive services provided by FSB but also to create a safe space for residents to discuss their experiences with substance abuse.

The workshop offered participants the opportunity to learn about various treatment options available at FSB. These include short-term mental health psychotherapy, substance abuse OP/IOP, anger management groups, parenting groups, youth counseling, and domestic violence interventions. The knowledgeable staff from FSB shared valuable information, answered questions, and helped residents better understand how they could seek help for themselves or their loved ones.

By bringing together individuals from different backgrounds, the workshop emphasized that no one is alone in their journey toward recovery.
